The Sentinal

Revolutionary War Image

Oh, if we could get people to be as protective of our Revolutionary War graves, as is this canine friend!

“We made a new friend the day we visited the William Cornett Cemetery in Cornettsville, Kentucky. Then he sat silently guarding while we wondered around. The grave he’s sitting by is my great-great-great-great-grandfather, who was a Revolutionary War Soldier. He pulled two stints in Virginia during the war.”

The image, The Sentinal, was originally uploaded at Flickr by cindy47452. It is posted here by barneykin, administrator of “The Revolution flickred” pool..

Is this the Wm Cornett of Cornettsville, Ky, Perry County?
If so, then I am a descendant along with many many other
descendants. The ground in Ky is very fertile. MC Rogers
